Hello all. I've written a short piece of nonfiction in my blog (Arbitrarium) that I would love for you to read if you're so inclined. It's called Bathed in Righteous Light, and it's about coming of age in Christian terms. Squirrel hunting, baptisms, and other lovely bits of Evangelistic fear-mongering!
Also, I've finally gotten my first bit of freelance work. I'm writing about rodeos! I don't know anything about rodeos! I'll also soon be contributing as a music writer for a site called Starpulse.com. I'll keep everyone posted. Please read Arbitrarium! I'm only a writer if people read me.
Be well.
PS
Go to And the Relatives' Myspace to check out our newest song, "Kitchen Sink." It is wild. |

| | Caribou (listen to Caribou!) | ] | Hello, old friends. I haven't been checking in; as of late, I've been doing most of my posting on my blogger site. I just wanted to share the following video, which I made for think.mtv.com. It's about the terrible epidemic of voter apathy from which our generation suffers (especially here in Tennessee). I'm waiting to hear back about a job with think.mtv; if they like my video, I get to do it once a week for a year...for money! Imagine that.
Push play or go here.
I'll continue to read your posts, friends. If you'd like to check in with me, I try to write regularly on dpatrickrodgers.blogspot.com. The frequency of my posts will increase next week, when I purchase my new Macbook. Be psyched for me. |
